My recipe for red pepper marmalade



Red pepper marmalade is a delicious on beef or chicken or mixed with cream cheese.
It is really quick, easy and cheap to make.


You will need:

2 cups white vinegar.
6 large red peppers.
4 large green peppers
4 large white peppers
2 tablespoons salt
6 cups sugar.

(Note below in the pictures is  my triple batch)


Step 1. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and the membranes.
 Step 2. Chop the peppers finely, Sprinkle with salt and allow to stand in a colander for 3 hours.

 Be For Salt! 
After Salt see the color change?
Step 3. Put the sugar and vinegar in a large pot , add the drained pepper mixture. Cook, stirring 
occasionally until the mixture is thick, it normally takes about an hour.
  

 Step 4. Spoon the mixture into jars. 
Step 5. Lid jars with standard boiled lids and rings.

 Step 6. Place in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
